"Serving of goodwill, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that the property that each one does, that will receive from the Lord" (Ephesians 6:7-8)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: John 13:1-17; Colossians 3:23-24
There is nothing to do, and both dignifies the human being as the beautiful experience of the service. It is a manifestation of the love that we receive from God our father, which allows us to always have to give to others a smile, a word of encouragement, a comforting hug or a hand of support in time of need.
Many people serving for different reasons and motivations. Many do so out of necessity, as a job, and, in this case, fair remuneration is the payment for their service. But there is God's promise to those who serve as goodwill for love, because they experience all that God has given you, is to share with others. These serve heart and with joy. They do not as for the man, because in that case they expected reward. Do it without expecting to receive anything in return, and then, when receiving the reward from God.
How wonderful it is to be rewarded by God. Can you imagine how are the rewards that gives the Almighty, the good father, whose measure to give is always generous, tight and overflowing?
Never repair the amount of service or calculate your cost. The more you serve, much better. Remember that promise includes that of good that each one does, so will receive of the Lord.
Be willing to serve rather than be served, even if it means in many occasions submission ego, comfort and even put aside their needs to serve others. This is not easy, but he accepts and adopts the service as a way of life, see life with meaning and accomplishment, happiness and fruit. Discover the life of Christ, who was up to the most exalted by the father, after the most selfless delivery and most praiseworthy service: giving his life for us (mark 10:45)
WE TALK WITH GOD
"Father well thanks for your immense mercy in allowing you to be at your side in this day, today we are still teaching the path of happiness and blessing. That the light of your holy spirit can today be wise to understand that wonderful Exchange, beneficial and favorable: that while we take care of serving others, you order our affairs, our lives, our needs and our desires. Thank you for teaching me to be like you. Teach us to do good mood as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that we will receive the reward of the inheritance of Ti whose measure to give is always generous, tight and overflowing; to be willing to serve rather than be served, knowing that the servant is not greater than his master, nor the Apostle is greater than he who sent him." Amen
