"Jehovah will be shelter for the poor, shelter for the time of trouble. You trust those who know your name, because you, o Jehovah, do not abandon to which you sought,"(Psalm 9:9-10)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: Psalm 16:1-11
Two interesting lessons can be drawn from this biblical portion:
• The first has to do with poverty, the psalmist declares us: Jehovah will be a refuge for the poor. Usually relate to poverty with lack of material goods, but the Scriptures speak to us of a much more serious poverty, and it is the spiritual.
Refers to those who are unaware of the abundant life that God has provided for them, and they suffer from having no who come, because they rely only on themselves or what they have. But God loves us so much you want everyone know, that everyone has access to their salvation and life total health and none lost. Therefore, extends a generous and compassionate invitation to these sheep come into its fold as its strength and providing refuge, there rest and can be sustained by the good Shepherd, so nothing needed.
• The second lesson refers to the need to know God to be able to trust him. God is our father and creator. Made us in his image and likeness, i.e. with a spirit designed to have friendship with him and know his plans and purposes; a soul with intellect, emotion and will, as he has also; and, finally, a body to execute his purposes on this earth. This means that any relationship wanting to settle, with him must be a personal relationship, involving all areas of our life: spirit, soul and body. As well as two people can build trust and privacy to the extent that they are, they share their purposes and communicate permanently, Dios also expects each of his sons relating.
That you and I can recognize every day our deep need for God, and bring us closer to knowing him, depositing all our confidence in and making it our biggest hope. Then, it will be our refuge, our refuge, our salvation in the midst of distress.
WE TALK WITH GOD
"Blessed father which art in heaven, thank you for this new day: today we ask that we disclose through your holy spirit you're a wonderful father to which we must approach with all your heart and with all our being." As well as give us all of you, we can also give you all of us, because you are only our hope. Thank you for listening to us and answer us. Beware, my God, because you are looking for protection. We have received all the good that we have it. Without you, we have nothing, you are all that we have; you fill our lives and give us security. Your teachings guiding us on the darkest nights, always these present; If you are on our side, nothing will make us fall." Amen
